On Sunday, October 21, the Lake Eustis Institute auctioned paintings by Al Black from 2006 and 2007. The auctioneer was David Glynn of Turkey Creek Auctions, Inc.

Al Black, one of the original Highwaymen, is familiar to anyone interested in the phenomenon of Highwayman art. In 2006, when he was incarcerated in a Florida correctional institution, Black painted some acrylic on canvas pictures. Pictured are Black’s 2006 paintings from the auction.
