Florida Regional Art in Focus
January 11 through January 25, 2008
The Art of Art Collecting was enjoyed by hundreds of people over a period of two weeks. Many of the show artists were at the opening night reception and all spoke about themselves and how they approach their art.
The exhibit drew large numbers of art lovers and featured seven of Florida’s finest regional artists including: Neil Adamson, painter; John Costin, etchings; Susan Dauphinee, painter; Doug Hays, sculptor; Keith Martin-Johns, painter; Diane Pierce, painter; and Jackie Schindehette, painter.
The closing night ‘Black Tie and Blue Jeans’ Gala and Art Auction was a social event with many of the guests joining in the fun by following the theme for their dress - Black Tie and Blue Jeans. There were many original costumes. A number of the guests went home with some wonderful art. The Lake Eustis Arts Accord auctioned their centerpieces which were made up of original pieces of pottery
